BiG Challenge 2011...Are you ready?
Due to popular demand, the fourth BiG Challenge will begin in June 2010, so you can start your business right now!
Anybody wishing to get started early can begin trading from Wednesday 16th June 2010.You can find out everything you need to know about the BiG Challenge 2011 in the Guidance pack. Click here to download it.
You cannot enter on the website until the official launch in September, however you should keep note of any business you do and any money you make before then.
Over the next month we will be adding a set of guides which will help you to start your business. You can find these on our Resources page.

Xtra 2 - The Winners!
Congratulations to Meadowhead team, Get Shirty who achieved first place in BiG Challenge Xtra 2, bagging £150!
Get Shirty was closely followed by Phoenix Digital Media Design from King Ecgberts who came second in the competition, winning £100.
The standard of entries was so high that the remaining four short listed entr ies were awarded joint third place. Well done to 4Kidz (Meadowhead), Paparazzi Stars (Stocksbridge), Westfield International and Picture This (both from Westfield) who were all awarded £25 by the judges.
The successful teams wrote about their plans to continue their business after the end of the competition and how they would spend the investment money if they were successful.
Well done to every team that entered the competition but didn't quite make it on to the short list:

Well done to all of the teams that entered Xtra 2!
Judges of BiG Challenge Xtra 2 are left with the tough job of picking 4 winners from the 17 impressive entries that were received.
The standard of the entries has been very high, but only 4 teams can win cash prizes of £150, £100 or £25. The judges are considering which teams show the most potential to continue and what their track record is like.
Teams were also asked to plan how they would spend the investment money if they win.
So who's going to win up to £150 for their BiG Business...? Results coming soon!
